USMC Multimedia

The link below is for an audio slideshow that I did in VA in August for the Truth With a Camera Workshop. It is a story that I put a good deal of work into and would very much like your feedback on because I have looked at it so much that I need fresh eyes. Please tell me any suggestions that you have that would improve it. Be brutal.

Mexican Independence Day

There is a big Hispanic --mostly Mexicans-- community here. There was a pretty big Independence Day celebration albeit 5 days late.

Teachers Homecoming
My roommate wrote a story about people who graduated from Jackson Hole High School and have come back to teach. It is so easy to work in schools here.

More art

My first week here was spent shooting art events and the second high school sports. As part of the arts festival here they had an even called the "Quick Draw" where artists have one hour to create a work which are then auctioned off. The tourists here are incorrigible. I wish I could have captured some of that for personal stuff.

Art but not artsy

These were from the Black Bear Ball at the National Museum of WIldlife Art just outside of Jackson. Very wealthy people get together to oogle very expensive renditions of animals and cultures they would like to kill.

Volleyball Virgin
First time shooting volleyball too. I even had lights. I could get them to fire and ruin every picture I took. Thank god for Canon's 1600.

Golf
If you thought golf was boring to watch and play it sure isn't boring to photograph. These were my first two attempts. I had the motordrive set on high and filled up my buffer before the ball got to the hole on many occasions.

Man Handy

That is actually what this guy calls himself. He and his friend are from Brooklyn and do general handy work around Jackson. This was for a business story.

People with too much money
There was a big art auction two weekends ago. That painting you wouldn't want to put on your wall was sold for $35,000.
